Al-Sharif al-Radi, known in Persian as Seyyed Razi, the son of Abu Ahmad al-Naqib, a decent of Prophet Muhammad was born in 970 AD in Baghdad. He was a Muslim scholar who compiled Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib sayings, the Nahj al-Balaghah, which is considered one of the famous classical texts of Islam.
