Frank Crossman is an engineer and a member of the prestigious National Research Council, where he served on the National Materials Advisory Board. Dr. Crossman spent over thirty years working at
Lockheed Martin . He is also active in theMars Society , and is the co-editor withRobert Zubrin of two books of essays and articles related to exploringMars . Dr. Crossman is currently editing a third book in this series, to be released in late 2006.Dr. Crossman holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from
