The goal is to allow customers to achieve improved application uptime, reduced data center operating costs, and enhanced security and compliance.BladeLogic was started by a group of entrepreneurs who recognized that IT organizations required next-generation solutions to solve the growing management challenges of the data center. Remarkably, the company closed its first round of venture financing five days before September 11, 2001, and then raised three other rounds of venture financing over the next four years for a total of $29M.
