Attendance counting

Big Apple Anime Fest's metric for counting attendance differed from those typically used by other anime conventions. Many anime conventions base their attendance counts on the number of badge sold over the course of the event and sometimes combining it with the number of volunteer staff. However, Big Apple Anime Fest counted someone attending with a three-day badges three times.cite web | title = Ten largest North American anime conventions of 2003 | publisher = AnimeCons.com | url = http://www.animecons.com/news/article.shtml/410 | date = 2004-01-01 | accessdate = 2008-05-13]
