Channel 3 (شبكه سه in Persian), is one of five nationally broadcast television channels in Iran.

It is the third television channel created by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, and started broadcasting on December 5, 1993 [ [http://isna.ir/Main/NewsView.aspx?ID=News-1046749&Lang=P ISNA - 12-05-2007 - 86/9/14 - سرويس: / تلويزيون و راديو / شماره خبر: 1046749 ] ] . The channel is often referred to as the "youth channel", due to its large amounts of programming dedicated to sports. The channel broadcast major Iranian sport events, mini-series, comedies, and movies (both foreign and domestic).

The channel is believed to be the most popular and widely viewed of the major television channels in Iran.
