Lucescu Jr. (as he is nicknamed) will surely end up to be one of the best Romanian managers in history. At such a young age, he took Rapid Bucuresti to the
UEFA Cup quarter-finals, after Rapid was in 12th place in the league. He brought them to second place in a close season finish, losing the first place by only 3 points toSteaua . With Rapid, Razvan has managed to win theRomanian Cup and to bring glory back to the club. However, in 2007 Razvan has decided not to continue with Rapid, after a fallout with some of the supporters and several disagreements with the club owner. He opted to return to FC Brasov, where he started his coaching career, in 2003.
