"You'll See" is a song by pop singer Madonna. It was the first single taken from the 1995 ballads compilation "Something to Remember" and was released on October 13, 1995 by Warner Bros. Records.

ong information

The song became an international hit; reaching #1 in Japan and Spain, #2 in Finland, #5 in Italy, #2 in South Africa and #6 in the USA. In the UK it reached #5, while outselling all previous singles since "Justify My Love" in 1990 and was in the year-end top 40. It was also certified Gold in the US and Japan. A Spanish version, called "Verás" appeared on the maxi-singles and on the Spanish and Latin American editions of "Something to Remember". Junior Vasquez produced an uncommissioned and unofficial remix of the track.

In October 1995, Madonna performed "You'll See" for the music television program "Top Of The Pops" in the United Kingdom. In 2001, Madonna substituted "You'll See" for "Gone" at select US shows of her Drowned World Tour.

British soprano Keedie covered the song on her album "I Believe My Heart". Also, singer Shirley Bassey covered this song on her album "The Show Must Go On".

Music Video

The music video for "You'll See" was produced as the sequel to the award-winning clip for "Take a Bow", using the same director, Michael Haussman. Madonna is pictured travelling across Spain wearing Versace designer clothing and pursued by the scorned Spanish Torero (Emilio Muñoz) from "Take a Bow" video, shot in Ronda, Spain. It was shot on October 23-24, 1995 at Pinewood Studios in London, England while Madonna was recording the soundtrack to "Evita". The video world premiered on MTV on November 2, 1995.
