Sierramont Middle School

Sierramont Middle School is a three-year middle school located in East San Jose, California and is a part of the Berryessa Unified School District. It is currently a California Distinguished School.

Graduates usually attend Independence High School or Piedmont Hills High School.

It is part of the Berryessa Union School District. Its current Principal is James Hamilton. The students enjoy many extracurricular activities, including the many sports teams, the chess club, AVID, Math Counts and Science Group. Its rival schools are Morill Middle School and Piedmont Middle School.

Notable students include Daniel Liou Chen, who went on to become a Pixar animation designer, and Jerry Yang, who is currently the Co-founder, CEO and Chief Yahoo of Yahoo! Inc.
