Leslie Joyce Hall Pinder (née Hall) (born
21 September 1946 ) is a Canadianlawyer and writer.Born in Elrose,
Saskatchewan , she earned a B.A. inEnglish literature from the University of British Columbia in 1968. Hall then worked as a court reporter while pursuing legal studies, obtaining herLL.B. in 1976.In 1982, Lazara Press published a prose poem entitled "35 Stones" in broadside and postcard format.
Hall's second novel, "On Double Tracks" (1990), was a nominee for the 1990 Governor General's Award for English Fiction.
Pinder's only publications after "On Double Tracks" have been legal work. As a lawyer, she has worked primarily on
First Nations land claim s inBritish Columbia .She currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia.Bibliography
