Dronningens Artilleriregiment

The Dronningens Artilleriregiment (English: The Queens Artillery Regiment), short DAR, was a Danish Army artillery regiment.

History

It was created November 1, 2000 by merging Sønderjyske Artilleriregiment in Varde and Nørrejyske Artilleriregiment located in Skive. It was located on Varde Barracks. On November 1, 2005, Kongens Artilleriregiment was merged with the Regiment creating the new artillery regiment, Danske Artilleriregiment. Danske Artilleriregiment is now Denmark's armed forces sole artillery regiment.
