Amit Mishra audio|Amit Mishra.ogg|pronunciation (born November 24, 1982 in Delhi) is an Indian cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and legbreak bowler.

Comparisons his critics have made with Shane Warne are by all means undeserved, despite a similar run-up, and bowl. Mishra is an attacking cricketer who bowls a praised leg break and googly.

Mishra was initially called into the Indian squad for the Test against the West Indies in 2002, but was not given a chance to play. He was allowed to play, however, during the TVS Cup in 2003, which took place in Dhaka. he plays for delhi daredevils in the Indian premier league. he got a hat-trick against the deccan chargers
