Pre-1900 Pacific hurricane seasons

Pre-1900 Pacific hurricane seasons

The following is a list of pre-1900 Pacific hurricane seasons. Data on most of the storms that formed is unavailable, however, some regions had a large enough coastal population or ship traffic to give data on the occurrence of hurricanes. These seasons all began May 15 in the East Pacific and June 1 in the Central Pacific and ended November 30. These dates conventionally delimit the period of time when tropical cyclones form in these regions.
