Queen's Quay Terminal

Queen's Quay Terminal

Queen's Quay Terminal was a cold storage facility, the Toronto Terminal Warehouse, built in 1926 by Moores & Dunford (NYC) and converted to a condo/mall complex in 1983 (The southwest section was demolished and forms the south end of the parking lot between Queen's Quay Terminal and the EnWave PowerPlant). The renovations by Zeidler Roberts added 3 floors to the original 10 floor structure, for a total of convert|750000|sqft|m2 of space. The New York Times mentioned it as an example of successful revitalization efforts in Toronto during the 1980s. The Art Deco facility houses a shopping mall that includes a Sobey's grocery store. It is also home to the Premiere Dance Theatre.

Yahoo Canada and ImBev's Canadian unit Labatt's both maintains offices in the building.

It is owned by Brookfield Properties. [cite web|url=http://www.brookfieldproperties.com/resources/2515/2ndqtr%20-%202006.pdf|title=Brookfield Properties 2nd Quarter Report|accessdate=2007-04-15]
