"Pantheon" is an American comic book series written by Bill Willingham. The series was published by independent publisher Lone Star Press and is set in its own self contained universe.

Plot

The series deals with a plot by former telekinetic superhero Daedelus to take over the world. He is opposed by his former colleagues in the super hero group Freedom Machine. The issue is complicated by a plot by the US Government to enact a 'final solution' to the superhero problem, in the process releasing several imprisoned supervillains.

Collected editions

The first six issues of the series is being recolored and collected in a trade paperback edition, with new material, to be published in November 2008.
