West Malvern is a
village on the west side of the north part of theMalvern Hills at the western edge ofWorcestershire . The location is given by gbmapping|SO764465.West Malvern has superb views of the rolling
Herefordshire countryside due to its altitude (up to 250m abovesea level ). There is a church (St. James ' - built1840 ) and aprimary school (St. JamesChurch of England primary). The church is the site of the grave ofPeter Mark Roget - author ofRoget's Thesaurus .The [http://westmalvernvillagehall.org West Malvern Village Hall] is a key resource within the community. A registered charity, it is home to many clubs and societies in the village.Until recently, West Malvern was home to Violinist Nigel kennedy and world famous Rock n roll photographer Martyn Goodacre. Soul singer Andy 'Soul man' Brim is also known to have a caravan in the area.
