Hamilton, Leicestershire

Hamilton is an area ofLeicester, England. Hamilton was originally the name of a deserted medieval village just outside the modern city boundary, to the north-east, and nearby Humberstone. The name is being revived for new developments on the A563 road, east of Rushey Mead. [http://www.leicester.gov.uk/index.asp?pgid=8276] The housing estate in the area is currently being extended.Although the area is pleasant with desirable properties,there is a lack of faclities to give it a defined centre.A very large Tesco store serves the area.
