Gombe is a city in northeastern Nigeria. The state is predominantly habited by fulani (Fulbe) in the Centre and North while in the South the Tangale are the majority. However the state is made of numerous minority tribes that includes Terawa, Bolewa, Kare-kare, Jukun, Cham, Dadiya, Wajawa, Awak, and Kanuri (who migrated from Maiduguri). Although each of the tribes have their own language, Hausa is predominantly spoken.
