Ajith Jayakody

Lieutenant Colonel Ajith Jayakody is a former Sri Lankan record holder for discus throw. He held the national record for more than 10 years.He served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Sri Lankan army and continues to play a major role in bringing up young talent within the country. He retired from Sri Lanka Army in 2007 and living in Winnipeg,Canada now.

He attended De Mazenod college and St Anthony's college, Wattala. He still holds school records in under-19 category.
