Graham Percy

Graham Percy (June 7, 1938 – January 4, 2008) [ [ Graham Percy: Children's illustrator who took a cerebral approach to his work - Obituaries, News - ] ] was a noted illustrator of children's books. He was born and brought up in New Zealand. He studied Graphic Design at the Royal College of Art, graduating in 1967 and becoming a freelance artist specializing in children's book illustration. He illustrated numerous board books, pop up books and pull tab books. Among his most notable achievements:

*Illustration for a TV adaptation of The Emperor's Nightingale which won the Prix d'Italia (1983)
