Yeerk Peace Faction

The Yeerk Peace Faction, usually called Peace Movement, is an undercover organization in the "Animorphs" science fiction series. The Yeerk Peace Faction is composed of Yeerks who wish to make peace with their hosts. These Yeerks only take voluntary hosts with whom they have a friendly, cooperating relationship, or else no host at all. Sometimes members are discovered and, like Aftran, can be trapped in a morph forever to survive and escape. Rachel realized that there is a way out for the Yeerks who want peace - true symbiosis as opposed to parasitism, like the Iskoort.

For more information on the Yeerk Peace Movement, see books #19 The Departure, and #29 The Sickness; it is also very heavily mentioned in The Familiar when Jake "morphs" through time to when the time when the Yeerks have won the war. The Yeerk controlling Cassie is part of Yeerk Peace Faction, more specifically the evolutionist front. This part of the peace movement aims to create synthetic hosts. However in this future the YPF are a terrorist organization, that vandalize, destroy, kill, and sabotage to get the job done. This was the reason why the controller-Cassie asked Jake to sabotage the Yeerk's project of turning the moon into a mini kandrona sun.
