Canebrake Treefrogs ("Aplastodiscus") is a genus of frogs in the Hylidae family, and are found in southern Brazil and Argentina. This genus contained only two species until recently when a major revision of the Hylidae family moved an additional 12 species to this genus from the "Hyla" genus [http://digitallibrary.amnh.org/dspace/bitstream/2246/462/1/B294.pdf] .
