Her most famous, and successful,
song is "Bobby's Girl ", which reached number three in theUK Singles Chart at Christmas time in 1962. It also reached number six in Norwegian chart in that year. The recording was a cover ofMarcie Blane 's U.S. original. She appeared at the 1963Royal Variety Performance , and in the "What a Crazy World "film . Maughan also sang the title song for the second Charles Vine low budgetsuperspy film , "Where the Bullets Fly" (1966). In 1971 she appeared in series five of the "Morecambe & Wise" BBC television series.Perennially popular, Maughan now performs frequent summer seasons at
