Divizia A between 1993 and 2004, when the team relegated toDivizia B .They promoted back toDivizia A for the 2006–2007 season.They were supposed to play in Divizia B for the 2007-08 season after finishing 15th out of 18 teams,but Divizia B team Delta Tulcea could not obtain the license for promotion,and Ceahlaul remained in Divizia A.History
