Robert MacNaughton (born December 19, 1966 in New York City) is an American child actor, best known for his role as Elliott's brother Michael in Steven Spielberg's "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial", for which he won a 1983 Young Artist Award as Best Young Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture. Following roles in "I Am the Cheese" and a few made-for-TV movies, he moved to Phoenix in 1994 to pursue a career in theater — with little success — and finally became a mail handler for the United States Postal Service in the late 1990s.
