Venezuelan Academy of Military Sciences

The "Academia Militar de Venezuela" ("Venezuelan Academy of Military Sciences"), founded in 1810, is the oldest military academy in Latin America. It is located in Caracas, Venezuela and provides a four year program of training for officer cadets. Notable graduates include current Venezuelan president Hugo Chávez.
