Kaarin Fairfax (born 30 September 1959) is an Australian actress best known for playing Dolour Darcy in 1987 TV miniseries based on "The Harp in the South" and "Poor Man's Orange" by Ruth Park. She has also acted in other Australian television series throughout the 1980s, 90s and 2000s.

Kaarin Fairfax played the mother in the Australian movie opera " One Night The Moon", a story of racial prejudice in the outback. Kaarin's performance was exemplary and the mystique continues.

She is the former partner of Australian musician Paul Kelly and has two children with him. [ [http://www.theage.com.au/articles/2004/04/24/1082719676103.html Lure of hearth and home - Music - www.theage.com.au ] ]
