Lighthouse 21

Lighthouse 21 (L21) was a multimedia Christian ministry in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex that began in 1986 and came to an end in 2002.

The ministry began as Youth Wake, a Saturday night program on 91.7 FM KVTT which targeted the area youth. The show featured music from a mixture of Christian Rock and Rap artists along with an hour long youth talk show format at the end of the four hour program.

The show was hosted by [http://897powerfm.com/personal_rick.html Rick Walker] , who was later joined by co-host Ted Blair. The show later became Lighthouse 21 and grew into a multimedia ministry with radio, television, Internet chat and live Internet streaming.

In the late 1990's Lighthouse 21 offered a "triple-cast" with both radio and television programing, alongside Internet chat and live Internet streaming. The radio program aired on KVTT-FM from 1986 to 2000, before moving to 89.7 FM KTPW (later KVRK) which was a sister station to KVTT at the time.

The television programing was aired on Channel 52 KFWD-TV from 1999 to 2000 and featured segments from the radio program as well as Christian music videos.

Both radio and television programs were streamed online at [http://www.lighthouse21.com lighthouse21.com]
