Torbjørn Sindballe

Torbjørn Sindballe (born 21 October, 1976) is a professional triathlet from Denmark. The 32 year-old Dane currently lives in the northern sjælland. He lives with his wife Mette, and their 5-year-old son Oskar. Thorbjørn weighs in at a 80kg and is 190cm tall, which is quite a size for a elite triathlete.He had his first career breaktrough when he won the Danish and Nordic Championships in 1998, and next year won World Championship Silver. However, his career has been plagued by injuries but he somehow has still managed a very healthy career, with many impressive results, including:

The thing that Thorbjørn believes is holding him back from the victory on the Island of Kona, Hawaii (where the Ironman World Championships are held), is his bodies inability to rid of the heat that the Hawaii Ironman offers. Therefore he has developed several ways with ecco of how to survive the blazing heat of Hawaii. Running in all white, soaked in water, as well as a glove filled with ice all to cool him and his 80kg down, and therefore Thorbjørn despite his speed is hard to miss on Kona.
