Kurdish Socialist Party or Kurds Socialist Party in Kurdish Sorani (Parti Socialisti Kurd - پارستی سۆسیالستی کورد) Kurmanji (Partiya Socialist Kurda) PASOK, formed by Muhammad Mustafa aka Azad Mustafa on September 11th 1976. PASOK's name changed in the first congress voted by the majority of the members to Kurdistan Independence Democratic Party in Kurdish Sorani(Party Serbexoyie Dimocrati Kurdistan - پارتی سه‌ربه‌خۆیی دیموکراتی کوردستان) in Kurmanji (Partiya Serxobuna Dimocrata Kurdistane).
