The Kungur Chronicle, also known as the Kungur Chronicler and Brief Siberian Kungur Chronicle ("Кунгурская летопись", "Кунгурский летописец", "Летопись сибирская краткая Кунгурская" in Russian) is one of the
Siberian Chronicles , written in the late16th century by one of Yermak's companions during hisSiberia n campaign.The full version of the Kungur Chronicle did not survive to this day. It was partially included in one of the Siberian Chronicles known as the
Remezov Chronicle . The Kungur Chronicle contains the description of Yermak's Siberian campaign and valuablehistoric ,geographic andethnographic data on Siberia and its 16th-century inhabitants. It is written in a folkCossack -style language.
