Gethes

In the Novel City of Pearl, "Gethes" was the name given to humans by the Wess'har. The "gethes" were typically looked down upon by the Wess'har, because of their indifference toward the land, and the fact that they ate animals and by-products of animals. "Gethes" was the Wess'har word for "carrion eater".
