Juicy girl

Juicy girl

A Juicy girl is a woman who works in a "Juicy Bar" and is employed to sit and chat with male/female customers and persuade them to continue to buy alcohol for themselves, and expensive juice drinks for the "Juicy Girl", under the guise that the woman is also drinking alcoholic drinks. Juicy bars are found throughout the world, they most likely originated in East Asia.Depending on the individual bar, there may be an area more secluded where sexual prostitution takes place but not to the extent of having sexual intercourse. Typically, Juicy Girl bars that offer intercourse require the patron to leave the bar with the woman to another location. They are called "Juicy Girls" as patrons pay for their time by purchasing drinks of what are essentially juice/soda/water disguised as alcoholic beverages.

ocial and economic issues

Generally speaking, a juicy girl is a woman who works in a bar that receives money from customers to sit with in the form of a drink. Depending on the bar this could be no more than mango juice and ice or a watered-down alcoholic drink. Some bars will allow the customer to choose a drink for the girl. A favorite scam of the bar/girl is to have the customer purchase a watered-down shot of tequila or other type of hard drink. The cost of this drink varies from country to country. In South Korea, the price is generally $10 for 15 minutes of the girl's time. This time is generally like a date in that the girl sits with the customer, asks questions about his life and pretends to be generally interested. A lot of times these girls are memorizing everything the customer says. This is what they use to get the customers to continue coming back, creating clientèle. If the customer thinks that the girl genuinely cares for him, he will continue to come see her and purchase more drinks. "Mamas" or "mama-sans" are the drink pushers, so to speak, so that the customer does not feel pressure from the girl. The whole thing is a simple psychological game, much like the "good cop, bad cop". The girl tells the customer that she needs to get drinks in order to stay in good standing with the bar owners. Many of them will tell stories of their struggles at home to gain sympathy from the customer. Some of the stories are true, while others are just stories to gain the sympathy of the customer.

"Juicy girls" are sometimes associated with prostitution, and the practice of a bar fine is not uncommon:cite web | url=http://www.armfor.uscourts.gov/opinions/2002Term/01-0647.htm | title=UNITED STATES, Appellee V. This is also known as "buying her day off," as the women work seven days a week. Common belief is that customers assume they are paying for the woman's company, similar to an escort service. However, it is usually presumed by all parties involved, though not mentioned conversationally, that sexual services are being purchased. However, women may choose to not engage in sex, as some just want to get away from the bar.

Bar owners traffic young women from usually working class farm areas. The women typically see spending a few months away from home and making some "easy money" exciting, and sign a contract with a bar owner. Most of these women are recruited by "managers". Women usually respond to advertisements of exciting work to make a lot of money, or are approached personally by a "manager" who recruits them. They are invited to an audition, as many of them believe they are trying out to be a singer or some other type of entertainer. If they pass the audition (usually if they are attractive, they'll pass), they are then to work. A typical dwelling for a juicy girl is a sub-standard apartment with the entire "brothel" housed in one unit. A juicy girl's personal expenses must come from her commission. Her commission varies, depending on the bar. The service they are delivering is the illusion of a young man going into a bar and buying a drink for the beautiful women across the bar. The young lady then comes and chats with him as long as the customer continues to buy drinks. They usually have a quota of 35 drinks a weekend or 200 a month, depending on the bar. They are paid a commission based on drinks purchased by their client, receiving one point per $10 purchase, with a drink costing $10, although this system varies by bar. Interviews with the girls in the ville showed that they made around an extra 35 dollars per month from their drinks and were actually punished for any tips they received during the night. Many of the girls are there to earn money for their families and will attempt to marry a U.S. serviceman. At this point, the soldier can either buy out the contract (usually around $4,000) or work through the local government and U.S. Military to get the young lady a new passport. The governments of Japan, South Korea, Russia, the United States, and the Philippines have established that the women can get a new passport for $200 instead of buying their original back from the bar owner. A lot of these women enter South Korea under false names and documents. However, many of the women are married in their home country and do not want to return to get new passports.
