Richard Revesz

Richard Revesz

Richard "Ricky" Revesz is dean of the New York University School of Law. He was born in Argentina, graduated "summa cum laude" from Princeton University, and then went on to Yale Law School, where he was editor-in-chief of the "Yale Law Journal". He clerked for Justice Thurgood Marshall on the U.S. Supreme Court, where he met his wife, Vicki Been, also a law professor at NYU. He joined the NYU faculty in 1985, teaching Environmental and Administrative Law. He succeeded John Sexton as dean in 2002. He lives with his wife and two children in New York City.
