Points of interest
Pomona is notable for two things. The Majestic Theatre [http://www.majestic.spiderweb.com.au] claimed to be the oldest continuously operating silent movie theatre in the world, though scholars point out that the oldest is in Lyon, France. Built in 1921, it became a community-owned enterprise in October 2006.
Australian musician
Darren Hanlon 's album "Fingertips and Mountaintops" was entirely recorded in the Majestic Theatre.ee also
