(2006)"A.W.O.L." is the fifth album by
rapper AZ. It was recorded after "Final Call", an album that was shelved because of a two month early leak on the Internet. While people thought "A.W.O.L." would be worse than "Final Call", the disc was a surprise underground hit when it came out. Because of constant record label problems, "A.W.O.L." is the first AZ album which was released on his ownQuiet Money Records imprint. In a couple of months after the release, "A.W.O.L. 1.5", which included a bonus disc featuringa cappella andinstrumental versions to the songs on "A.W.O.L.", was released.Track listing
Trivia
* The tracks "Live Wire", "Magic Hour", and "The Truth" were all featured on AZ's "Final Call" album. The album was shelved, however, due to
piracy .* A special 2-disc edition of the album was released called "A.W.O.L. 1.5." It contained "Live Wire", "Magic Hour", and "The Truth" as bonus tracks and disc 2 contained all the tracks' instrumentals as well as a cappella versions.
