Jason Whittaker

Jason Whittaker is a major character in the Christian-themed radio drama/comedy "Adventures in Odyssey", voiced by Townsend Coleman. He is the adult son of "AIO" main character John Avery Whittaker, and moves to Odyssey to manage "Whit's End", along with Jack Allen, following his father's move to Israel.

Jason is known as a technophile with an aggressive personality, which fuels frequent clashes between him and Jack. Jason is also a former employee of the National Security Agency, a fact that plays into occasional episodes.

Jason came very close to marrying his long-time sweetheart, Tasha Forbes. But, they broke it off while parked in front of the justice of the peace's house. Jason met Tasha because they both worked for the NSA. They had a rather interesting encounter in "The Search for Whit", when they met up while hunting down Whit in the Middle East.

Jason faked his own death in the episode "Accidental Dilemma", apparently so enemies from his former life in the NSA will not come after him anymore. It is unknown if he will appear frequently in further episodes during his undercover life around the world.
