Edward Francis Rimbault

Edward Francis Rimbault (1816 - 1876), English organist and author. Some of his historical musical anthologies were published by the Percy Society.

*Co-founded the Musical Antiquarian Society in 1840.
*Composed the refrain to "O Happy Day, That Fixed My Choice" (1854).
*Co-authored "The Organ: Its History and Construction" (1855).
*Authored "Early English Organ Builders and Their Works" (1865).
