Robbie Gennet began his musical career providing keys, guitar, and backup vocals as he toured with
Saigon Kick from 1992 to 1993. [http://www.robbiegennet.com/bands/index.htm] Eventually, with three other musicians, he established his own 'acidpop' band; [The Robbie Gennet Band] . Active from 1994 to 1996, the Robbie Gennet Band toured mainly the southeast USA. Robbie Gennet (keyboard, vocals), Groovey (guitar), Eric Larriviere (drums), Dave Garbarino (bass), and Lesley Daunt (guitar, vocals) consisted of the band's original members. In 1995, Dave Garbarino and Lesley Daunt amicably departed from the band, and Debbie Duke (bass) continued on in their stead. The band wrote many songs and played many shows, but remained very underground as their songs were achieved record status. However, their live shows were praised by many, and multiple music organizations and magazines recognized the talent and quality of The Robbie Gennet Band's performances and musical abilities, bestowing them with many different titles and awards of achievement. In 1996, after three years musical exploration the band parted ways, leaving Robbie Gennet with ideas for a new project and direction. Robbie then toured with Seven Mary Three, as their keyboardist, guitarist, and backup vocalist until 1998.
