Hume committed
suicide in his apartment inArlington, Virginia . In the months before his death, Hume, analcoholic , had begun drinking again. The night before his suicide, Hume was jailed fordrunk driving and tried to hang himself in the Park Police jail cell. [ Tapper, Jake.
