"Rarities" is a compilation album by The Stranglers. It was released by EMI, who had acquired the back catalogue of the Stranglers' former record labels United Artists and Liberty. The compilation was only released on compact disc: its primary purpose was to make available on CD various tracks which had previously only been available on obscure vinyl or flexidisc single releases.
