Radio Redditch

Radio Redditch is a Restricted Service Licence radio station set up in Redditch, Worcestershire, England.

Background

Radio Redditch was formed to highlight the need for a full-time station in/for the area. The station was organised by Rob Ison (also the Station Director of 107.2 The Wyre in Kidderminster (North Worcestershire). The Station's third and final trial broadcast to date was on Monday 2nd April 2007, lasting 28 days, on 87.9 FM. Presently, no future RSL's haver been confirmed.

The station's voluntary 'on air' team previously included presenters Terry Settle, Phil Dent and James Hollamby, The latter two can now be found running Redditch's Local Community Radio Station - Kingfisher FM - http://www.kingfisherfm.co.uk
