Axillary tail

Axillary tail

Part of the breast. Specifically, it is a small part of the mammary gland that extends along the inferolateral (bottom and on the margin) side of the pectoralis major towards the axilla (armpit). Some women may discover this structure and believe that it may be a cancerous lump or an enlarged lymph node.
