Young was born in

At age ten, he portrayed Martin Luther King in a play called "A Night of Stars and Dreams" by Dwight Woods, and the Phillis Wheatley Reporte Theatre of Greenville South Carolina. It was then that Lee decided he wanted to become an actor. After doing community theater for a while, he traveled toNew York during the spring break of1996 and got an agent.Career
Young moved to NY that June but it wasn't until the next year that he auditioned for the part of Jett Jackson in "
The Famous Jett Jackson ." Lee filmed the pilot and found out inJune 1998 fromThe Disney Channel that the show had been picked up. It later went on to become a Disney movie inJune 2001 . In1999 , Lee starred inJohnny Tsunami , another Disney Channel Original Movie, as Sam Sterling a major character in the movie. The movie went on to be a big success, but Lee didn't reprise his role as Sam in thesequel, .After the cancellation of
The Famous Jett Jackson , Young had guest spots in CBS's "The Guardian". He had a part in the movie "Friday Night Lights" portraying Chris Comer and a part in theJamie Foxx movie "". Lee could recently be seen onUPN 's low-rated TVdrama "South Beach", which was produced byJennifer Lopez . He portrayed Victor Stone (known inDC Comics as Cyborg) in a fifth season episode of the television series "Smallville" in2006 .Young has also appeared in
