In his column, Southern Exposure, Harrell wrote, " Many people believe Bergman has the power to beat Alvin "The Million Dollar Baby" Prouder (PKA World Welterweight Champion)." Bergman has been a member of
Phi Delta Kappa Honor Society since 1991, and a member ofThe United Teachers of Dade since 1981. He has also taught courses inGED ,Pre-GED ,Citizenship , andVESOL (Vocational English for speakers of other languages).
