May 24 1946 ) is a Portuguesefootball (soccer) manager.Ferreira was the assistant manager for Portuguese national team in the 1990s, and manager for the under-21 national team, until the 1999-2000 season. He reached the 12th place for Alverca, in 2000-2001. He was the assistant manager of
SL Benfica , since 2001, ending as the manager in 2002, and remained in charge of the "Águias" team until November 2002 when was replaced byJosé Antonio Camacho and returned to assistant manager. In 2003 he was signed bySC Braga as manager. On the summer of 2006, Ferreira signed forBoavista FC but onAugust 16 resigned in order to sign a one-year contract withFC Porto .FC Porto presidentJorge Nuno Pinto da Costa officially announced Jesualdo Ferreira as the team manager onAugust 18 , the same day their contract was signed.His career in FC Porto has been loaded with good results.
