Reynaldo Parks Pérez (born
December 4 ,1974 ) is an internationalCosta Rican soccer defender who currently plays forAsociacion Deportiva San Carlos that is coached byJuan Carlos Arguedas . He has played in different teams in Costa Rica, as well as inMexico andGuatemala . He started out in Costa Rica with his hometown teamLimón , and was later transferred toClub Sport Herediano . Then he went on to play withCSD Municipal in Guatemala andUAG Tecos in Mexico, before coming back to Costa Rica to play for Saprissa andClub de Futbol Universidad de Costa Rica Parks was a key member of the Costa Rican national team that qualified to the
2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan , serving as the captain. But just before the event started, an injury kept him away of participating in it. Since then, he has won with Saprissa two national championships as well as aUNCAF Cup title and aCONCACAF Champions Cup title.Parks was part of the team that played the 2005
FIFA Club World Championship Toyota Cup , whereSaprissa finished third behindSão Paulo Futebol Clube andLiverpool F.C. .
