Herman Lochner

Herman Lochner (born July 7, 1976, Port Elizabeth, South Africa) is a leading South African Internet Consultant, specialising in the fields of eDevelopment, eMarketing and eCommunications.

Lochner started his career at Robertson Valley Technologies, a South African IT company. He helped to establish RVT in the beautiful Robertson Wine Valley region in South Africa.

In 2000, Lochner decided to leave his country to continue his career in the United Kingdom. He started as "multimedia designer" and soon moved into a "senior web developer" role at WorldPay - a leading player in the online payment processing field. In 2002 he made a career move to manage the customer acquisition marketing activities within WorldPay.

In early August 2004, Lochner briefly returned to his country, after leaving WorldPay. In June 2005, Lochner returned to the United Kingdom.

He is currently employed within "Retailer Solutions", a division of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group as "eMarketing and Communications Manager".
