Palawah

Palawah or Pallawah is a term of self-reference for Aboriginal people of Tasmania.

Other names used by Australian Aboriginal people

There are a number of names from Aboriginal languages commonly used to identify groups based on geography:
*Koori (or Koorie) in New South Wales and Victoria
*Murri in southern Queensland
*Nunga in South Australia.
*Noongar in southern Western Australia
*Anangu in northern South Australia, and neighbouring parts of Western Australia and Northern Territory
*Palawah in Tasmania
