Craig Hickman is a computer programmer, photographer, and Professor of Digital Arts at the University of Oregon, where he teaches courses on programming for artists and digital imaging. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University and a Master of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Washington, Seattle. He is especially known for creating Kid Pix, a drawing program marketed toward children. He is also one of the founding members of Blue Sky Gallery in Portland, Oregon, one of the oldest and most respected alternative photography galleries in the world.
