Barbara Anderson (born 1926) is a
New Zealand writer who has become internationally recognised, despite only starting her writing career in her late fifties.Born in
Hastings, New Zealand , she was educated at theUniversity of Otago where she graduated with a BSc degree in 1947. After a career as a medical technologist and teacher, she went back to university inWellington where she graduated with a BA degree fromVictoria University of Wellington in 1984.Works
